Nestled along the banks of the Buckhannon River
just north of the city of Buckhannon, West Virginia, Riverbend Golf Club at EvUnBreth
sits on the former EvUnBreth Acres property. Once owned by
the West Virginia United Methodist Church Conference and operated
as a church camp and educational center, the property was sold to
the Rexroad family in May 1982.
Shortly after that sale, Dave Rexroad, an attorney by trade, set
out to design a golf course on the property. In the summer of
1988, Mr. Rexroad opend EvUnBreth Golf Course.
Now, Riverbend Golf Club at
EvUnBreth, owned and managed by Affordable Golf, LLC,
features 2 large ponds coming into play on 5 of the nine holes with
hole number 9 being the signature hole requiring a carry of 180
yards to one of the courses small undulated greens. Stone
bridges over drainage ditches add character to this already
picturesque golf course.
Just minutes off U.S. Route 33 (Corridor H) by either the Route
20 or Morton Avenue Exit, Riverbend
Golf Club at EvUnBreth is a golf course that should be
on your play list.
